CLEVELAND'S OWN.
Montana takes great pride in opening his first boxing gym in his hometown. When you step in to Camp Love, it feels like home.

MONTANA'S STORY.
Montana Love was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. For as long as he can remember, he was known for his athletic abilities as well as his love of boxing. Montana’s personal hero is his mother, Clarise Love, who taught Montana the importance of a strong work ethic and his relentless pursuit of excellence. She introduced Montana to boxing at a very early age. And the sport helped get him through good times and bad.
Montana credits his mom with being the most caring, loving, and supportive person he’s ever known. His mom inspired Camp Love’s REAL Values where REAL stands for Respect, Empathy, Accountability and Love.
After the untimely death of Montana’s mother in 2015, he began a deliberate focus on living life well and building his legacy. Montana’s idea of legacy is heavily informed by the interconnectedness between learning from the past, living in the present, and building for the future. His children Londyn, Montana and Kali remind him to live life with integrity and courage.
The establishment of Camp Love honors his history, family, and community. It honors those who are living, those who have passed on, and those yet to be born. Montana no longer focuses on the past. He focuses on living life to the fullest and on growing emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
When Montana is not boxing or training at Camp Love, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and has deep gratitude for his Uncle Calvin, a father figure and role model.
